RankNest

Free Trial

How the 14-day RankNest trial works: starting it, the one-per-person and one-per-company rules, and what happens when it ends.

The RankNest free trial runs for 14 days and needs no credit card. Every plan includes every feature, and so does the trial: you get the full product, with trial-level usage limits, and you only pick a plan when you are ready.

How the trial starts

  1. Sign up on the registration page with your name, email, and a password.
  2. Open the confirmation email and click the link. Your trial starts the moment your email is confirmed, and you land in the dashboard.

If you sign up with Google instead, there is no confirmation step; the trial starts right away.

If you ever end up on the pricing page without an active plan, a Start Free Trial option is there too, as long as your account is still eligible.

Who can start a trial

Three rules decide eligibility:

  • One trial per person. An account that has already used a trial cannot start another. You will see: "You have already used a trial. Please choose a paid plan to continue."
  • One trial per company email domain. The first person who signs up with a company address claims the trial for that domain. Anyone else at the same company sees: "Someone at your company has already claimed the free trial for this domain." This rule only applies to company domains; personal addresses like Gmail or Outlook are never blocked by it.
  • No disposable email addresses. Temporary inbox services are declined at signup. Use a permanent address instead.

Tip: If a teammate already claimed your company's trial, you don't need a second one. Ask them to invite you from Team Members; you'll work in their account with your own login. Otherwise, choose a paid plan.

What you can do during the trial

You can use the whole product: create a client, run the setup wizard, crawl the site, build a link map, generate a Linking Plan, start SEO tests, connect Search Console and Analytics, and schedule GBP posts. The trial has its own usage limits, listed on the pricing page.

One restriction to know about: trial accounts cannot delete clients, so pick your test client deliberately. See Managing Clients.

When the trial ends

RankNest emails you before the trial expires. After 14 days, access pauses and you are asked to choose a plan; nothing is charged automatically because no card was ever collected.

Your data is not deleted when the trial ends. Clients, crawls, link maps, and test history stay in place, and subscribing picks up exactly where you left off.
