Billing & Usage

See your plan and usage meters, open the billing portal to manage payment details and invoices, and upgrade when you hit a limit.

The Usage & Billing tab shows which plan you're on and how much of each plan limit you've used this billing period. It also links to the billing portal for payment methods, invoices, and plan changes.

Where to find it

Click Account Settings in the dashboard sidebar, then open the Usage & Billing tab. It's the first tab, so it's also what you see when you land on the settings page.

Reading your usage

The card at the top shows your plan name, how many days remain until your limits reset, and quick counts of your clients, SEO tests, link maps, and Message Mining campaigns. If you're not on the highest plan, an Upgrade button links to the pricing page.

Below that, two cards break usage down with meters:

  • Usage This Period: Clients, SEO Tests, Link Maps, and AI Recs (AI-generated linking suggestions loaded this month).
  • Additional Limits: Campaigns, Reviews, Content, and SEO Variations. These cover Message Mining and Content Mapping usage.

Each meter shows your current count against your plan's limit. Anything your plan doesn't cap shows Unlimited with the amount used so far.

Note: Limits reset on your billing date, not the calendar month. Hitting a limit never deletes anything; the meter resets at the start of the next period and your data is untouched.

For the exact limits on each plan, see the pricing page, which always carries the current numbers.

How to manage your subscription

  1. Open the Usage & Billing tab.
  2. In the Subscription & Billing card, click Open Billing Portal.
  3. Your browser goes to a secure billing portal where you can update your payment method, download invoices, and change or cancel your plan.
  4. When you're done, the portal returns you to Account Settings.

If you signed up through a referral link, a Referral discount line appears in this card confirming the discount applied to your first invoice. See Referrals & Affiliates.

How to upgrade your plan

  1. Click Upgrade in the plan card at the top of the tab, or visit the pricing page directly.
  2. Pick the plan that fits and complete checkout.
  3. Your new limits take effect immediately, and the usage meters update.

Tips

  • Check the "Resets in N days" line before starting a large batch of work. If a monthly limit is nearly exhausted and the reset is close, waiting can beat upgrading.
  • Team seats are also tied to your plan. If you need more, see Team Members.

Troubleshooting

Open Billing Portal is grayed out. The portal requires an active paid subscription. If you're on a trial, use the pricing page to subscribe first.

A "Failed to open billing portal" message appears. Refresh the page and try again. If it persists, log out and back in. The portal link requires an active login session.
